UMFK to host 5K Race

FORT KENT - The University of Maine at Fort Kent athletic department will host a 5K race on Saturday, September 18, at the UMFK Sports Center, as part of the UMFK "Homecoming" and the Greater Fort Kent Area Chamber of Commerce "Scarecrow Festival" weekend events.  Race time is set for 9 a.m. and is open to all age groups.

Race-day registration and number pick-up will begin at 8 a.m. The first 30 people to register will receive a race t-shirt.

The fee for the race is $10 with proceeds benefiting the University's athletic department.

Racers will compete in four different age groups: under age 18; age 18 through 29; age 30 through 44 and age 45 and up.
