Talented people take the stage at UMFK
FORT KENT - The University of Maine at Fort Kent's Alumni Association will host a talent show on Saturday, Feb. 4, at 7 p.m. in the UMFK Fox Auditorium.
Tickets will be sold at the door on the evening of the performance at $5 per person.
The show will feature a variety of local talent for the public to enjoy, including vocal, instrumental, and dance performances.
The following will perform for a fun night of entertainment, Jared Carney, JIU dance group, Fort Kent Community High School dance group, three student performers from UMFK, Les Chanteurs Acadien, Melanie Nadeau-Saucier, Charles Ouellette, Rapture and Meranda Hafford Castonguay.
UMFK Alumni Association's board member Beurmond Banville and its President, Meranda Hafford Castonguay, will be the emcees of the evening.
The proceeds will benefit the UMFK Alumni Association scholarship fund, which annually is awarded to a current UMFK student and the Greater Fort Kent Ecumenical Food Pantry.
