MSAD 27 schools close at 1 p.m. Wednesday because of heat

FORT KENT - The schools of MSAD 27 closed at 1 p.m. today, Wednesday, September 1, because of unseasonably hot weather.

Weather predictions indicate the temperature will rise to a scorching 93 degrees today.  Because the schools have no air-conditioning, temperatures in the buildings could go even higher.

Buses leave at 1 p.m.

There were no after-school activities.
