High class Can-Am

20, 20, 20, 20 - Karen Ouellette, Lynn Cyr, Chairperson Norma Landry, Allen Dow, and Rita Cannan organized a special event Friday, Feb.10 to commemorate the 20th anniversary of the Can-Am Crown International Dog Sled Races. Held 20 days before the Can-Am Crown, the event featured $20 tickets, with a special drawing in which 20 attendees received their ticket fees back in 5 drawings held 20 minutes apart, 20 words of wisdom were spoken, and 20 trivia questions were featured on cards placed at tables around Nowland Hall. Over 100 people participated in the wine and cheese social at the University of Maine at Fort Kent to celebrate. - Daigle image
