Fort Kent Chamber Dinner announced

FORT KENT - The Greater Fort Kent Area Chamber of Commerce board of directors announced the 63rd annual Chamber Dinner will occur on Friday, January 21, 2011. Brenda Harvey who is currently the Maine State Commissioner of Health and Human Services is this year's guest speaker. Harvey is a graduate of the University of Maine and obtained her master's at the University of Southern Maine. She also graduated leadership Maine and was a member of the Maine Management Institute faculty.

Harvey has also won many honors during her career including selection to the University of Southern Maine wall of Fame. She has also earned the State of Maine's highest distinction for a manager in government, the William Twarog award.

The event will also include the Chamber Annual meeting, presentation of the citizen of the Year Award, and the chamber's awards. The Chamber will hold the dinner at the Fort Kent Knights of Columbus hall on Frenchville road. The social will begin at 5:15 followed by dinner at 6:00. Aramark Food service will cater the dinner.
