The JV team scored a win with a final score of 34-30. The varsity team also pulled off a win with a final score of 45-41.

Music played as the varsity girls took to the court before their game.

Before the game, Coach Larry Murphy outlined the team's strategy. He said, "We are going to play a lot of man to man defense. Our biggest improvement today is that we will not turn the ball over."

Much like the boys game the night before, the girls took a foul shot less than 30 seconds into the game with Sam Carapellucci shooting.

Many noticed the pink armbands the players were wearing. The Community High School girls and boys teams will be wearing pink arm bands throughout the season to support Breast Cancer Awareness.
