Race organizer John Kaleta said the snow is good for racing and he expects many spectators and racers to be on hand for the excitement.

The start is at a new location on Convent Road and begins at 11 a.m. on Saturday.  The 100-miler will send intrepid mushers on a grueling round trip journey with a break at Moose Point Camps on the Fish River Lake.

The 30-miler will finish in the afternoon at the Eagle Lake Recreation Center and the long race will end late in the evening and early Sunday morning.

The awards ceremony is on Sunday morning at 10:30 a.m. at the Tamarack Inn.
