They accomplished this task in the time-honored tradition of washing cars.
Cyr said that she is able to use her degree in dance to help young people develop their talent. She said, "When we do our end-of-year show and all the kids show their talent, with their make-up and their performance, it's really a good feeling."
The young people, along with several volunteer mothers, washed over 30 cars. With the money and other fundraisers, the troupe will compete in three competitions in the coming year. Cyr said simply, "They work hard. They raise money."
Cyr said, "I love to dance and I love to teach kids to dance and progress every year."
As cars drove past the parking lot between Thibodeau's Insurance and St. John Valley Real Estate, the kids used their dance moves to attract attention to their cause.
