Boy Scout Troop 189 sells homegrown veggies
31 July 2010
FORT KENT - On Saturday, members of Scout Troop 189 set up a vegetable stand in the Farmer's Market across from the St. Louis Catholic Church and sold vegetables to raise money for their troop.
Roy Farm donated land for the Scouts to use.

YOU WANT POTATOES WITH THOSE BEETS? - Jackson Ashby, Evan Bouley and Mathew Kelly of Scout Troop 189 describe their vegetables to Tammy Ouellette on Saturday afternoon. The young businessmen were selling homegrown vegetables to raise money for the Scout local troop.
There were onions, beets, beans, squash, zuchini, potatoes and other vegetables. The young gardener's enthusiasm may have helped them in the success of their sales.
