Bigger and bigger salmon at the Long Lake Ice-Fishing Derby

SINCLAIR - People keep bringing in bigger and bigger salmon as the deadline for weighing in the catch in the Long Lake Ice-Fishing Derby draws nearer.

In both the youth and adult categories, new catches have taken the lead.

Anthony Daigle has the current lead in the youth division with his 5 pound, 11 ounce salmon.

Jim Bouchard just weighed in a 6 pound and 1.4 ounce salmon to claim the current lead in the adult division.

The weigh station at the Long Lake Sporting Club closes at 5:30 p.m. and the awards ceremony begins at 6:30 p.m.
