6th grader takes SAD 33 spelling bee

SPELLING CHAMP - The SAD 33 Spelling Bee was held Jan. 13. The first place winner was Olivia Gervais, above, daughter of Scott and Mary Gervais, grade 6 at Dr. Levesque School. Runner-up was Sarah Harris, below, daughter of Dr. James and Kathryn Harris, grade 8 from Wisdom Middle/High School. The two will be competing in Fort Kent at the Aroostook County Bee on Feb. 10 at 6 p.m. in Fox Auditorium at UMFK. - Contributed image
