Plow truck backs into vehicle, resulting in $1,800 in damage

FORT KENT – On Feb. 20, the driver of a plow truck backed into a vehicle leaving the Gas N Go parking lot on East Main Street in Fort Kent. Approximately $1,800 worth of damage resulted, with no injuries, said Fort Kent Police Chief Kenneth Michaud.
At approximately 1:45 p.m., Donald Dubois, 54, of St. John Road, Fort Kent, was driving a 2001 Ford pickup and plowing the Gas N Go parking lot while Derrick Collins, 50, of Presque Isle was leaving the parking lot at one of the Main Street entrances/exits.
Dubois backed into the right rear door of Collins' 2012 Toyota four-door, causing approximately $1,800 worth of damage to Collins' vehicle.
